- Planning of safe and economical voyages
- Conducting correspondence course for pre-sea students at sea for Certificate of Competency (CoC) at Class 4 and Class 3 levels
- Developing user-friendly softwares in numerical problem areas of (especially) Ship Stability and Navigation for CoC Class4 and Class 3 levels
- Planning and establishing a new nautical training academy
- Checking of ship’s stability and recommending safety procedures at all stages including launching of new ships, vessels afloat in loaded or ballast conditions, dry-docking or grounding
- Development of ports, harbors and rivers
- Planning and improving safety management skills for shipboard and office staff
